Apple's Safari Web browser continues to gain marketshare, month by month.
According to the latest data, Safari held 4.03 per cent of the browser market in November 2006, with Firefox accounting for 13.5 per cent and Internet Explorer hovering above the 80 per cent mark at 80.65 per cent.
In November 2005, Safari held 2.78 per cent of the market, representing a year-on-year increase of 45 per cent.
These reports emerge as analysts across the board note an increase in Apple's Mac sales and market share. Safari is installed as the default browser on new Macs.
