Adobe has announced that Bruce Chizen will replace Chuck Geschke as the company's president.
Chizen has been promoted from his former position of vice president of worldwide products and marketing. The company also promoted several members of its executive team.
Chizen, 44, joined Adobe in 1994 as vice president and general manager of the graphics professional division. He has held a variety of executive positions in sales and marketing during his 20-year career, including positions with Mattel, Microsoft and Claris.
Chuck Geshcke announced earlier this year that he would retire after giving the keynote speech at Photoshop World 2000, which took place on March 31. He remains on the board of directors.
