Adobe's has released PageMaker 7.0, its page-layout program.
Announced in June, this final release of PageMaker 7.0 has built-in PDF (Portable Document Format) tools to create tagged PDF-files that display documents on laptops, PDA's (personal digital assistants) and other wireless devices.
PageMaker 7.0 has updated import support for Microsoft Word files, and updated file conversion support for Microsoft Publisher and QuarkXPress files.

PageMaker 7.0 provides tight integration with apps including Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Illustrator. PageMaker 7.0 bundles as part of Adobe's Publishing Collection, which also includes Photoshop 6.0, Illustrator 9.0 and Acrobat 5.0.
PageMaker 7.0 is available for £405. Upgrades from previous versions cost £59. The Publishing Collection costs for £819.
