Apple seems set to tweak its AirPort Express product, ushering in a new generation that's equipped with 802.11n support.

802.11n is the fast WiFi standard supported by current Macs, Time Capsule and the Apple Extreme.

Rumours are circulating rapidly across the Mac rumour websites, with 9 to 5 Mac noting Apple's Swiss online store briefly updated the specifications for the device over the weekend.

The Swiss Apple store pages don't mention if the new version AirPort Express will support USB hard drives, or note any new features of the system, other than support for 802.11n.
