The final decision on a 63,000-Mac strong laptop plan in Cobb County has been delayed slightly.
Last minute contract negotiations drove the move to delay the vote until April 13, but the delay won't affect the vote, the local school board told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Cobb county is considering a plan that may eventually see 63,000 iBooks distributed to students and teachers. Most teachers (76 per cent) support the move.
the plan will cost $70 million in the next four years and a further $20 million each year to keep in motion beyond that.
