Apple is hiring for a second UK own-brand Apple Store - this time in Brimingham UK.

The Birmingham store is set to open in early 2005 and will be located in The Bullring, Birmingham's newest shopping area which opened on September 4 2003. It's the first time the company has confirmed it has plans to open additional stores to its forthcoming outlet on London's Regent Street. Persitent rumours claim the company's also seeking premises to open a (now) third store in Manchester.

Advertising the vacancies on its Web site, Apple says: "The Apple Store offers a unique opportunity to share your passion for Apple products and technology with customers and Mac enthusiasts alike." The Apple Store is also said to be "a rewarding environment in which to build your career."

The company is looking for "passionate individuals", with "special skills and talents". A number of roles are on offer including Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Mac Specialist and Mac Genius.
