Apple has released Backup 2.0.2 to .Mac members.
The update offers "performance and stability improvements to scheduled backups," the company said.
Backup offers both scheduled and manually initiated backups and is capable of backing up selected data to a user's iDisk, external FireWire hard drives, CD or DVD discs.
The software is also capable of copying/backing up only those files that have changed since the last backup.
The 2MB download is available from Apple and requires Mac OS X 10.2 and an active .Mac account. Users with the software installed can also update the application using Software Update.
