Apple's new Wi-Fi solution AirPort Extreme is flying off the shelves, the company said.
More than 150,000 AirPort Extreme products have been sold in the last quarter, the company said.
AirPort Extreme is based on the emerging 802.11g specification, and offers data-throughput rates almost five times faster than before.
Welcoming the market's acceptance of its new product-line Apple's VP hardware product marketing Greg Joswiak said: "Apple was the first company to ship 802.11b products with the launch of AirPort in 1999, and now we're the first company to ship 802.11g in volume with AirPort Extreme."
AirPort Extreme products work with existing 802.11b devices, including public Hot Spots and Wi-Fi certified 802.11b Windows solutions.
