Apple has reduced prices for its 15-inch LCD iMacs.

The entry-level 15-inch LCD iMac now costs £1,049 (including VAT), down from £1,149. Features remain unchanged: a 700MHz G4 processor; 256K L2 cache; 128MB RAM; 40GB drive; CD-RW; 10/100BASE-T Ethernet, and NVidia GeForce2 MX graphics card.

Apple's combo-drive model sees a significant £150 price cut - it now costs £1,199. Features include: 700MHz PowerPC G4 processor; 256K L2 cache; 256MB RAM; 40GB Ultra ATA drive; DVD/CD-RW drive; NVidia GeForce2 MX graphics card.

Prices for the SuperDrive-equipped, 800MHz G4 15-inch and 17-inch iMac models remain unchanged at £1,149 and £1,649 respectively.
