Claimed by Apple to be the UK’s largest video production and broadcast exhibition, the Production Show will host Europe’s first ASE village.
The ASE scheme connects corporations, small or medium-sized businesses, schools, and universities with experts who assist in purchasing, installing, learning, and supporting Apple-based solutions.
The ASE village will exhibit Apple’s digital-video editing and DVD-authoring solutions.
In the zone Other show features include the Show Conference, which features luminaries from the production industry; the Audio Zone, which emphasizes the importance of audio and video; and the Location Village, a forum for producers and production-managers to meet location-services companies and overseas production-companies. An Engineering Technology Centre will be dedicated to free workshops, and a Production Services and Craft Village will offer a range of creative services and products for the production industry. The Skillset Learning Zone is aimed at UK training-companies.
Apple will also host other events in May. Driven By Design is a free seminar aimed at the graphics industry. It takes place on May 23 at the Theatre Royal, London.
AppleScript training courses Tecsoft will be presenting an AppleScript Training program from May 21 to 23 at Apple UK’s head quarters at 2 Furzeground Way, Stockley Park East, Uxbridge, Middlesex. This is an introductory Workflow Automation with AppleScript class. The two-day option costs about £688 per participant, while the three-day option costs around £715 per participant.
