Apple has begun to hype up its World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) at San Jose next month.

As reported by Macworld in February, Steve Jobs will deliver the keynote at the conference, which takes place at the San Jose Convention Center, May 15-19.

According to Apple's press release, the WWDC will include technical tracks on Mac OS X, digital media, networking and security, hardware, and tools.

Steve Jobs said: "This conference will be the most important event of the year for Mac OS X developer and marketers. We're planning for the biggest and best developer conference in Apple's history."

Developers can register for the conference at Apple's site, where discounts are available for early registration and for Apple Developer Connection (ADC) Premier and Select members.
