The recent trend for poor NAND flash prices looks set to reverse after news Apple had ordered fresh stocks.
A-Data Technology company chairman Simon Chen told the Chinese-language Economic Daily News that Apple recently started restocking its NAND flash supply to meet the upcoming seasonal demand.
Meanwhile DRAMeXchange reported that Apple has also placed orders with Samsung Electronics and Hynix Semiconductor. The amount requested is believed to be double that was ordered from April to July.
News that SanDisk planned a larger memory MP3 player also generated positive market news.
