Mac OS X 10.3.9 'Panther' users also came in for a software update from Apple last night, in the form of the latest security update for the systems.

Apple has released both a client and a server update for Macs running Panther, and recommends all users install the new software.

Security Update 2007-008 improves the security of the following components: AppleRAID, bind, CoreFoundation, and the Flash Player Plug-in (repairing a security flaw in which opening maliciously-crafted Flash content could lead to arbitrary code execution). The software also incorporates previous security updates.
