The promotion runs until January 6 and involves discounts on a choice of two Nikon digital cameras to customers purchasing certain DVD Macs.
Qualifying Macs include eMacs, iMac G4s and iBooks with built in Combo (DVD/CD-RW) or SuperDrives (DVD-R/CD-RW) optical drives.
The company is offering a Nikon Coolpix 2500 worth £269 for just £89, or a Nikon Coolpix 5000 worth £799 for just £439. Both camera and Mac need to be purchased simultaneously.
The 2-megapixel Coolpix 2500 offers 3x optical/4x digital Zoom lens (12x total combined zoom). The model has a moveable lens to help photographers capture the shot they need. This model ships with an 8MB CompactFlash card and connects to the Mac over USB.
For advanced photographers, the 5-megapixel Coolpix 5000 offers a maximum resolution of 2,560-x-1,920 pixels - sufficient to support 16-x-20-inch prints. The device offers a 3x optical zoom lens, with a macro capability that enables the unit to shoot from as close as 2.5cms. This unit also offers a fast 66 millisecond shutter release speed and 3fps and 1.5fps shooting modes. Additional lenses are available for the camera for more specialized work. It ships with a 32MB CompactFlash card and connects using USB.
Used, refurbished or ex-demonstration Macs don't qualify under the terms of the offer. The offer may not be used in conjunction with any other Apple promotion, with the exception of the Mac and Microsoft Office promotion.
