Apple plans a new iTunes promotion with soft drinks company, Pepsi, reports claim.
The promotion is said to begin on January 31 with the beverage company popping yellow song-winning caps on one in every three bottles of its carbonated soft drink.
Pepsi's Canadian promotion has just come to an end, this offered a free iPod every hour. Macworld sources claim the new US promotion also include special caps offering winners a chance to win an iPod mini each hour for the duration of the campaign.
A page that appeared briefly on Apple's Web site revealed that 200 million free songs will be distributed in the promotion, which is expected to run until April 11.
Once again, the promotion is set for announcement during February's SuperBowl.
