Apple has revealed plans to build a new, 50-acre campus in Cupertino.
The company discussed its intentions at a Cupertino city council meeting on Tuesday.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs said: "What's happened at Apple is that our business has basically tripled in the last five or six years."
The new properties are expected to open in "three to five years" and to attract up to 3,500 employees.
