Apple has set the end-of-life prices for its recently replaced MacBook Pro with Core Duo processors range.
The company replaced this range with Core 2 Duo processor-powered portables this week.
The new prices offer significant savings for users happy to acquire one of the older machines, and should be available from local Apple resellers for as long as stocks last.
The 2.0GHz 15-inch MacBook Pro costs £1,149 down from its original £1,399 price tag. The 2.16GHz model now costs just £1,299, a £400 discount on the previous price.
If you're chasing a 17-inch model, Apple has set £1,699 as the end-of-life price for the formerly £1,899 2.16GHz portable.
