The exhibition takes place at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam. It's described as the, "most important international trade exhibition for newspaper companies and their partners in the world". It runs between October 11 and 14.
Apple says the briefings are aimed at CIOs, CTOs, system managers, editors, journalists and designers looking for "robust, real-world solutions that will give them an advantage against the competition".
Apple Europe's director of software product marketing, Oren Ziv, will offer briefings on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.4 Server and their publishing and productivity features. Such features include Spotlight, Core Image Processing, Colour management, RSS News Feeds, Smart Folders and Dashboard. He'll offer nine briefings in all, three on the first day of the show and two each day for the next three days.
Apple worldwide developer relations print and imaging technologies evangelist, Paul Danbold, will offer in-depth advice on Mac OS 10.4 to chief technology officers, software developers, technical system administrators and workflow experts. He'll offer five seminars across three days.
As well as the forthcoming OS, Apple will also highlight the Xserve and Xserve RAID, Adobe Creative Suite and QuarkXPress 6.
