Apple has released security updates for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.3.9 systems.
Updates - which are available for server and client, PowerPC and Intel iterations of the OS - are available through Software Update or for direct download from Apple's support website.
Apple states: "Security Update 2006-002 is recommended for all users."
It improves security in the following system components: automount; Bom; Directory Services; IPSec; LibSystem; loginwindow; perl; Safari.
Apple's recently released Security Update 2005-008, Security Update 2005-009 and Security Update 2006-001 have all been incorporated into this security update.
