Apple has issued Security Update 2008-002 v1.1 (Leopard) and Security Update 2008-002 v1.1 Leopard (Server), recommending these revised security patches to all users.

The updates, which weigh in at 50MB and 108MB respectively, are described as improving Mac OS X security and incorporating all previous security updates.

Apple introduced its slightly revised security update to grapple with a problem found when using Aperture under the preceeding one, which exposed some undisclosed reliability issyes in the Printer Settings button in Aperture 2.0 on Macs running OS X 10.5.2.

The update is available through Software Update or for direct download from Apple's website.
