Apple has initiated a massive ad campaign for the iPod shuffle at Leicester Square tube station.
The company has bought every available poster site at the station in what Media Week describes as a "major branding takeover".
Travellers will see iPod shuffle ads at poster sites, ticket gateways and station arches, "creating an exclusive iPod zone”, the report states. The move supports a major television ads campaign. You can see the TV ad in QuickTime format here.
Stephanie Vidal, Apple’s European marketing manager, said, “Music is an important part of the youth market".
