Apple has released a security update for Mac OS X 10.2.6 Server.
The update is available in multiple languages. It updates Apache 2.0.45 to 2.0.46 and: "Addresses a security hole in the mod_dav module that could be exploited remotely causing an Apache Web server process to crash. In addition, this update prevents the exposure of a user's password when using the dsimportexport tool," Apple's notes state.
The company adds that Apache 1.3 is unaffected by the update, which is the primary Web server used in the OS. Apache 2.0 is installed with OS X Server, but is switched off in default mode.
The update is available from Apple's Web site, and also through Software Update.
