Apple has increased the hard-drive capacity of all PowerBook G3 laptops and pre-installed iMovie 2, without increasing the price.
Apple made this announcement quietly, and was unavailable for comment on their stealth tactics.
The Powerbook G3/400 MHz model will now have a 10GB hard drive rather than 6GB and the Powerbook G3/500MHz model will have a 20GB rather than a 12GB drive.
Additionally, a 30GB Ultra ATA hard-drive option is available as a build-to-order option on the PowerBooks from Apple dealers and the Online Store.
The new models are available immediately from the Apple Store.
