More details are emerging of what's in store for MacExpo 2001 attendees, where both Apple and LaCie will exhibit.

Islington's Business Design Centre has been redesigned, fortunately in advance of the show, which runs November 22-24.

Apple, in its first major appearance at a general interest UK Mac event for three years, will exhibit its full product range. The revised PowerBook and iBook ranges are expected to be on show. The new digital device the company is preparing to unveil may also be on display.

LaCie will be at stand 640 to show its new products, including: the FireWire 120GB external hard drive, the 48GB PocketDrive and its DVD-RAM/R combination drive. The company will offer product demos at its booth, which it will share with back up specialist Dantz.

Other products on view will include LaCie's full range of USB, SCSI and FireWire hard disks, including its 180GB drive. LaCie's full selection of monitors, RAID systems, CD duplicators, CD writers and more will also be demonstrated.

Most major companies with a presence in the UK Macintosh market will also be at the show.
