In keeping with a long-standing tradition, Apple CEO Steve Jobs will grace Macworld Expo with a keynote speech on the morning of 15 January 2008.
Macworld Expo will be held at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center between 14-18 January, 2008. The keynote address takes place at 9am (6pm UK time) at Moscone West.
"This is one of the biggest Mac community gatherings of the year and Steve's keynote is always the most anticipated event of the week," said Mary Dolaher, CEO of IDG World Expo. "We're looking forward to a great show and are thrilled that Steve will once again be kicking it off."
Apple's CEO used the event last year to introduce the iPhone and Apple TV, and to offer general information on Apple's plans for 2007.
Macworld Conference and Expo 2008 will host creative professionals from various industries, including design, print, online, photography, broadcast, videography and music.
The exhibit floor will feature over 350 companies and the event will also offer a conference with over 120 educational sessions, and an innovative set of exhibit floor attractions including a free training series, an interactive Digital Photography area and live Music and Sound product demonstrations.
Event highlights, conference agenda and registration information are available on the Macworld Conference & Expo website.
