Apple has announced an AppleScript training class from November 13 to 15.
Attendees of the two-day "Workflow Automation with AppleScript" class will learn how to create scripts for FileMaker Pro, Canto Cumulus and QuarkXPress.
Hands-on exercises will reinforce learning, according to Apple. Students will have to master these processes and demonstrate their knowledge at the end of the course by developing real-world AppleScript software-automation solutions.
There is the option of attending a third day that will focus on advanced AppleScript techniques, such as scripting the Finder.
Attendance for classes is from 9am to 5pm at Apple's headquarters, 2 Furzeground Way, Stockley Park East, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB11 1BB.
Pricing starts from £672 per person for the two-day option, discounts are available for larger groups. Attending all three days costs £1,017. Interested parties must register online.
