Jonas Salling Shareware has introduced Sony Ericsson Clicker software that lets users remotely control software using a Bluetooth phone and Mac.

The solution, which is currently in beta, supports Sony Ericsson's T68, T68i, T39m and R520m mobile phones. A Bluetooth-compatible Mac is also required.

It lets users control PowerPoint or Keynote when giving presentations, control DVD Player or iTunes, or use AppleScripts to control other applications.

The solution also integrates a proximity sensor - users can trigger actions when they get close to or leave their Mac, pausing iTunes, for example.

A 148K preview release of the software is currently available. It is set to expire on March 1, and requires Mac OS X 10.2.4. The developer will release additional AppleScripts to control other applications "soon".
