Canto has released Cumulus Filter for Kodak DCS cameras.
The program automatically captures dozens of pieces of essential metadata, including global position satellite (GPS) information. It’s available as a single-user edition, workgroup edition and an enterprise edition. It‘s designed to manage images taken by Kodak DCS cameras.
The program lets photographers catalogue all the camera settings and other important data together with the image. The software allows voice data about the photograph to be recorded.
Jennifer Neumann, Canto’s CEO, said: "People are starting to recognize that metadata management is at the heart of every good asset management solution."
A fully functioning demo is available on Canto’s Web site. The full version is free. A batch catalogue licence costs $69.95.
