Channel 4 will launch the UK's first viral email competition, called 'Germ', on October 17.
The deadline for entries is December 5. The competition aims to celebrate the best in British digital creativity, and is a joint collaboration between Channel 4 IDEASFACTORY, viral site Bore Me, digital agency DS.Emotion and viral promoter Hot Cherry.
Public and agencies are invited to create a viral email and submit it to the competition. Agencies are also invited to enter. Prizes will be given to the best received.
