This professional-grade solution performs real-time editing, effects and compositing with uncompressed standard-definition video. New features include key-frameable image control and motion effects, as well as the capacity to create transitions on up to two tracks of video and two of graphics in real time.
It also lets users perform real-time effects on any supported video resolution onto full, uncompressed video-clips in the same sequence with no need for rendering.
Hard with the soft CineWave RT comprises both hardware and software solutions developed to integrate with Final Cut Pro It gives users real-time motion control of video, graphics and transitions. It's also capable of outputting to tape without rendering.
David Seeger, CEO of Today Video, said: "CineWave RT is like having an entire post house in a box. I have an engineering facility with thousands of square feet whose capabilities have essentially been reduced to a single card. I’ve got million-dollar systems that gather dust after a year or two."
The package includes a full version of Final Cut Pro, with Commotion Pro, Knoll Light Factory, the TARGA Cine Engine, and the CineWave RT software.
"Final Cut Pro’s extensible architecture seamlessly integrates real-time effects into the video editing workflow,” said David Moody, Apple’s senior director of applications marketing."
Cinewave RT costs £4,872 for the Cinewave package and £747 for the break-out box. Both prices exclude VAT.
