Connectix sources have confirmed reports that it intends releasing a Mac OS 9-compatible version of Speed Doubler.
Connectix customers have been lobbying the company for a new version of the product. Louise Brown, a Connectix representative said: "Connectix is a very customer-focused company."
"We want to provide you with a way to copy files intelligently between your source and numerous destinations." said Mike Dilley from Connectix. The company wants to stress that this decision has been taken in direct response to customers passionate requests.
The new Speed Doubler is expected to look a little different, and to support some new functions. The European version should be released after Macworld New York, perhaps at Apple Expo, Paris. Price details remain to be confirmed.
