Following extensive beta-testing Apple has released Xcode 1.5.
Xcode is Apple's integrated development environment for Mac OS X. The development software - which is developed in-house by Apple - offers support for all the different levels of the operating system, including: Carbon, Cocoa, Java and more.
The software also offers project editing, search and navigation, file editing, project building and debugging facilities for all OS X software projects, from applications to device drivers.
Alongside user interface improvements, the new version offers a host of new features, such as dead-code stripping, remote debugging, better performance, documentation bookmarks and native build system support for AppleScript.
Xcode Tools 1.5 is a full CD disk image available from the Apple Developer Connection download site.
