For once this isn't a story about Samsung copying Apple. Now it's HP's turn to rip off an Apple design.

HP has just unveiled two new laptops and they are so like Apple's MacBooks that we are wondering if HP has just rebadged them, like they did all those years ago when HP launched it's own iPod. The Apple iPod from HP was available in the US back in 2004.

Engadget has compared both laptop ranges. As you can see the matterials used certainly make it look like a mirror image.

The offending laptops are the Pavilion TouchSmart 11 and Envy 14 TouchSmart Ultrabook.

The Envy 14 TouchSmart Ultrabook features an upgrade option for a Retina display-like 3,200 x 1,800 resolution screen, writes The Verge.
