Epson has launched the Stylus Photo 2100 – a seven-colour A3+ high-quality inkjet printer.
The Stylus Photo 2100 features an automatic paper-cutter for trimming roll media. It also prints onto CDs, and features a paper-catching basket for collecting prints safely.
The printer uses seven colours of ink, including cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta, light black and either standard or matte black. Customers can switch between black inks. The product offers a 2,880-x-1,440 resolution.
The device also offers border-free prints on cut sheet and roll media at 100mm, 4”x6”, A4, A3 & A3+ paper.
Cartridges employ Epson’s Intellidge chip to store print data and allow each colour to be replaced and re-inserted at a later date. Grey Balancer software calibrates grey ink to suit display conditions.
The Epson Stylus Photo 2100 costs £493. Colour ink cartridges are £10, while Photo or Matte Black ink cartridges costing £8.50.
