Over 1,300 former Apple employees gathered for the AppleLore event in California over the weekend.

Many former Apple staffers at the annual show told Wired about their experiences working with Apple CEO Steve Jobs: "Everyone dreads getting caught in an elevator with him," one attendee said.

The show also looked at how Apple has marketed itself over the years, with former Chiat/Day copywriter Steve Hayden showing a series of TV ads, including one featuring the infamous Hunter S. Thompson, which was never screened.
