Adobe has appointed an ex Microsoft executive to head up its Asia Pacific marketing team.

Mark Phibbs will be the new marketing head for Asia Pacific. According to Adobe, Phibbs will be pursuing an aggressive marketing strategy across the region as Adobe expands its traditional creative professional and consumer markets and starts to target the enterprise decision makers with its new range of server based enterprise document solutions.

Phibbs was in senior management at Microsoft for ten years. He was most recently general manager of Microsoft Hong Kong.
