A new report suggests that by 2007 over 50 million homes in Europe, US and Asia will be WiFi-savvy.
BWCS's Wi-Fi Home Networking report says: "As DSL and cable continue to be rolled out across the developed world, users are starting to realise that their broadband line can do far more than provide them with a fast internet connection."
But BWCS notes: "Much work remains to be done before home networking will become a standard feature in every household.
"As yet, there is little consensus on the way users prefer to tune into their home entertainment. Should the TV be at the centre of the multimedia experience, or should it all be controlled from the PC?"
