Wholly-owned Apple subsidiary FileMaker has issued an update for FileMaker 6.0, bringing it to version 6.0v2.
The update supports the importation of XML data from a remote FileMaker host via http, and improves the performance of version 6.0's revamped Find and Replace command in large databases. It also fixes a problem that could cause object handles to appear incorrectly around selected multiple objects using the new Format painter tool.
The patch also fixes a problem in which data exported as XML data as a guest of a shared database and used as an XSL (Extensible Stylesheet Language) style sheet was saved in the FileMaker Pro 6 folder instead of the selected location. This has been fixed.
The update is available as a download.
