Adobe has denied reports claiming it will discontinue its FrameMaker product.
Adobe says it remains "completely committed to developing and supporting the FrameMaker product".
FrameMaker is a high-end solution for publishing long, content-rich documents across multiple channels - Web, CD-ROM, or print. It offers book-building features including book-wide commands, and has enhanced HTML and XML capabilities. It can also create structured PDF-files.
Adobe said it is working on a major new release of the application that will include some user-requested feedback. The product will also be promoted at Seybold, the company added.
It is expected that the XML support in FrameMaker will be improved in a future release.
