A specialist college of art, design, media and communication is offering free training to graphic designers and animators working with digital media.
The Surrey Institute of Art and Design will provide freelancers and recent graduates with training on the latest graphics and animation software and give advice on gaining employment.
The college will run free, one-day courses at a number of different locations across the country.
Each one-day course has an estimated value of £300 and is funded by the European Social Fund.
Project manager Michael O'Sullivan said: "Digital media continues to move at such a pace that it can be hard to keep skills relevant and up to date. This training will enable graphic designers and animators to access some of the latest technologies, and gain the experience that employers look for."
