Apple is a sponsor for the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences 2004 DICE Summit in March.

The event runs March 3-5 in Las Vegas and aims to explore the "future of game design and development," the Academy said. Speakers include developers from Electronic Arts, Flagship Games, Lionhead Studios, Sony, THQ and others. Keynote speeches from Electronic Arts founder Bing Gordon and Activision president Kathy Vrabeck are also scheduled.

The Academy will also present its 7th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, which will be on held on March 4. The Annual Interactive Achievement Awards have become the industry's benchmark for game design excellence, the organizers said.

"The thought leaders we have brought together as speakers and panelists for the 2004 DICE Summit have and will continue to shape the future of interactive entertainment," said AIAS Executive Director Gordon Bellamy.
