Apple has released GarageBand 1.1 software for iLife '04 customers.
GarageBand is Apple's affordable consumer-friendly music-creation software that makes digital music making approachable in the same vein as iPhoto ushered in a new era of digital imaging in the home.
According to the company, the update "addresses isolated performance and stability issues".
The update also makes it easier for users to move GarageBand songs between different Macs.
Apple reveals additional improvements, which include per-track echo settings similar to other effects; support for loop libraries in other disk locations; and support for importing unprotected AAC audio files as well as AIF and MP3 files.
The update also addresses "issues" with ReWire support and help support, fixes the timing of individual notes, regions of notes and offers the capacity to drag entire tracks into the timeline.
The 36MB update supports multiple languages and requires at least Mac OS X 10.2.6.
