Organizers of the UK's MacExpo event have announced another date for Mac users' diaries ? this time in Cologne, Germany.
They announced today that German MacExpo will run from June 23-25 at KoelnMesse, Hall 6 in the northern German city.
Organizers promise the event will be "more comprehensive, more in-depth and more educational than Mac-related events in Germany have been before".
Germany has a strong computer market: the territory is the second largest purchaser of computers in Europe and over 40 per cent of Germans own home computers.
The event is being collocated with Germany's MediaForum show, which focuses on the audio and video production and post-production industries. Visitors to MediaForum will be able to visit MacExpo Cologne, and vice versa.
The German MacExpo will focus on digital-hub solutions for Mac users. Music, digital photography, video games, the Web, design, publishing and other Mac industries will be represented at the show.
The organizers plan product and service presentations, information and seminars and conference sessions, and say the seminar programme will be the "highlight" of the event, featuring presentations from key industry players, as well as mac solution and Switchers masterclasses.
The MacExpo Cologne Web site will take advance visitor registrations from early March 2003. The first 3,000 pre-registrants will receive a free ticket. Otherwise visitors will be charged ?15 euros for adults and ?8 for children.
