Mac users accounted for 4 per cent of traffic to Google in February.
Google's records show that 46 per cent of searchers were using Windows XP, 23 per cent were using Windows 98, and 18 per cent Windows 2000. There were more Mac users than Windows NT (3 per cent), Windows 95 (1 per cent), Linux (1 per cent).
The last time Mac OS users accounted for 4 per cent of hits was in March 2003.
In January Mac users accounted for 3 per cent of visits to the popular search engine.
The highest ever Mac presence was 5 per cent in September 2002.
