A new AppleCentre is set to open in Liverpool on November 6.
The store, set in the city's up-and-coming Albert Dock area, will be the first high street AppleCentre to open in the former trading town. The unit is run by MCC, which owns the AppleCentre in Warrington.
MCC managing director, Roy Seddon, said: "Liverpool is home to three universities and has thriving business and shopping centres. This has been part of our expansion plans for some time - Liverpool is also the European City of Culture in 2008."
He added: "This will be the first high street AppleCentre in the North West to be aimed at retail shoppers. It will enable customers to experience developing digital technologies, from photography to music, from design to print. We aim to provide a one-stop shop for all of these, and much more."
The new store has also been accredited as an Authorized Canon Digital Centre, where customers can try and buy Canon products, and get expert advice on connecting to Macs and PCs.
To mark the launch, the shop will be offering special deals on a variety of excellent products, including Canon digital cameras and Apple products throughout the day.
