MacPowerUser has released iDraw, its illustration and animation program for Mac OS X.
The application offers a host of features, including: anti-aliased rendered paths, different fill types including semi-transparent colours and gradients, object transformations, text-shape manipulation and more.
iDraw can create still illustrations and frame-based animations. Files can be output as .SWF, JPEG, PNG or GIF files. It offers a range of shape creation tools - rectangles, ovals, pencils, pens and a text tool. Other tools include arc, bend and taper transformations, and the ability to combine multiple paths.
A functional demo version is available for download, the application costs $39.95.
