Small numbers are appearing at strategic retail locations in the UK, as Apple tries to give its customers a chance to take a look at the new Macs. Supplies are expected to increase from February 15.
Though Apple won't comment, it's thought the new iMacs are manufactured only in Taiwan at this point, at quantities approaching 100,000 per month. Apple CFO Fred Anderson warned that the company would be "unlikely to meet demand during the quarter".
Apple's mid- and low-end iMacs will ship in staggered stages in March and April, sources claim.
