The iPod will soon be a permanent fixture in Chevy maker, General Motors' cars.
The company is installing a new line of iPod ready radios into its vehicles.
The new radios include an auxiliary channel and front mounted auxiliary input jack. This allows iPods, and other portable audio players, to be played through the car stereo.
GM North America vice president Mark LaNeve said: "We are excited to be part of the iPod revolution by offering our customers an easy way to play their favourite music in their GM cars and trucks."
