This morning's New York Post reports that Apple is working on a deal that will make Apple’s iTunes Music Store available on Amazon.
“The parties are in advanced talks and a deal is expected, though sources warn that negotiations might still unravel,” writes Tim Arango.
The two companies already have a positive relationship - Apple is a licensee of Amazon’s patented one-click shopping technology.
Apple’s online-music service - which in time is expected to launch internationally and be made available to Windows customers later this year - has won much critical acclaim. Apple sold three million tracks in its first month of business.
