Members of Apple's UK iTunes team will join representatives of other digital music services to meet independent record labels later this month.
The Association of Independent Music (AIM) is hosting its seventh "Distribution and Digital Day" on September 28 in North London.
Napster, Snocap, eMusic, Recordstore and Music Choice will also attend the show, as will OD2, Karma Download, Tunetribe, Rightsrouter, Uploader, MusicNet, and Vital:PIAS Digital.
Attending companies (there's 23 in total) will each offer attendees from the UK's independent music scene a 15-minute presentation on what they do. Representatives from the company's will also be available for individual meetings.
The event takes place at the Chocolate Factory in Wood Green, London; 200 attendees and 40 digital and distribution companies attended the last such event in April 2005.
Attendance is free for AIM members, and £50 per person for non-members. The event starts at 9.30am.
